Your memorial donations make an impact for people and animals through Christian Veterinary Mission's work.
Veterinary professionals are uniquely equipped to reach many of the people around the world who have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. Most of these unreached people live in rural or nomadic communities where their livestock play a central role in their livelihood. A chicken lays eggs which can be sold for grocery money. Goats provide protein-rich milk to nourish growing children. A donkey plays the role of a truck and brings goods to market to sell. A herd of cows serves as a retirement fund.
When these animals are in poor health, it drastically impacts the lives of these people. Veterinary professionals are invited into these communities to provide training in basic animal health, nutrition, first aid and disease prevention. These people are empowered to take their futures into their own hands without having to become dependent on outside help or expertise. As relationships of trust are built, opportunities are created to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
In the last ten years, your Remember a Pet donations have helped CVM:
- do over 440,409 hours of training people in animal healthcare
- treat at least 4,289,302 animals
- tell 368,608 people about the gospel
- see 65,427 people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior
